This fast is observed on Vaikasi Varapira Ashtami. Puranas say that Tirumala got Garudavaganam, Indra Airavatham and Kubera Muthu Vimanam by following this fast.

During this fast, one should visit the temple in the morning and donate something and return home and eat the prasad.

During the day one should recite the Lord's scriptures. Have darshan of Shivalaya in the evening. You should sleep on the bare floor at night. The fast can be completed by visiting the temple the next morning.

Doing this fast will give you the privilege of buying new vehicles. There will be an accident-free journey. Vehicles will be beneficial.

On that day, Lord Shiva is worshiped sitting on Lord Nandy with his umayammai.
